Understanding RS 1
Bitumen Emulsion RS-1 is a specialized anionic water-based emulsified asphalt that consists of a minimum of 57% bitumen. It is crafted to serve as a high-quality bituminous binder ideal for chip seal applications.
Applications:
Tack Coat RS-1 is a cationic bitumen emulsion that can be efficiently applied at ambient temperature using a spray rate ranging from 0.25 to 0.70 liters per square meter (0.05 to 0.15 gallons per square yard).
