Understanding Cold Mix

Cold Mix is a bituminous mixture composed of mineral aggregate, water, and a tailor-made cationic bitumen emulsion. It can be prepared using concrete mixers, Cold Mix plants, or modified hot mix plants. This technology enables production in all seasons, even with wet aggregates.
